BOUNTIFUL - Dee Oviatt, 89, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010 in Bountiful, UT.

He was born November 19, 1920 in Hiawatha, Utah, the son of Guy Oviatt and Isabell Ann Tucker. He married Florence Heward on December 31, 1945 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Dee served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Africa, Sicily and Italy. He worked in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; sons, Mike and David; and grandchildren, Phillip, Serena, Devin, Will, Alexis, Madison, Seku and Kylie.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Paula.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the LDS Chapel, 3317 South 800 West, Bountiful. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thursday 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.

Interment-Redwood Memorial Estates.
