at 4 o'clock at his home 510
north Lafayette street after an illness of 16 years with arthritis. He
was born ln Ohio on November 21
1856 and came to Greenville 31
years ago from Van Wert. Ohio, In
1876 he married Emma Snelling who died in May. 1897 and he later married Mrs. Elizabeth Urton In 1898. Surviving besides the widow are four daughters, Mrs. Dora McCoy of New Mexico, Mrs. Maud Smith of Toledo. Ohio, Mrs. Goldle Maxfleld and Mrs. Catherine Jensen of Greenville, three sons, Joe, where-abouts unknown, and Glenn and Howard of Greenville. There are 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty with Rev. Paul E. Tucker officiating.
