Noe E. Flebotte, 72, Market Proprietor
Noe E. Flebotte, 72, of 305 Main St., Indian Orchard, proprietor of Flebotte's Supermarket, died today in Mercy Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Milton, Province of Quebec, Canada, on Aug. 4, 1894, son of the late Joseph T. and Margaret [LaDouceur] Flebotte, and had lived in Indian Orchard for the past 67 years.
He was the owner of Flebotte's Super Market for 40 years before retirement in 1962. Mr. Flebotte and his wife Mrs. Alice [Lemieux] Flebotte celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 8.
He was a charter member of the League of Sacred Heart of St. Aloysius Church, a charter member of the Indian Orchard Lion's Club, past president of the Indian Orchard Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Franco-American Club and a corporator of Ludlow Savings Bank.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Ernest T. of Ludlow; one daughter, Mrs. Albert Boulerice of Indian Orchard; one brother, George of this city; ine sister, Mrs. Emery Grazeline of Indian Orchard; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral will be held at Ratell funeral home Saturday at 8:15 a.m. with a solemn requiem high mass in St. Aloysius Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hors will be Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
