Rita J. Anderson, 84, of Bourbonnais, passed away Saturday (Nov. 9, 2013) at her home.
Burial at Mound Grove Gardens of Memory, Kankakee.
She was born July 28, 1929, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Jane Carroll.
She married Floyd L. Anderson Aug. 24, 1947, in Kankakee. He died July 17, 2006.
She was a homemaker and farm wife. She loved her children and grandchildren and visiting with people. She was a Cubs fan and enjoyed reading and collecting lighthouses.
Surviving are sons, Carl Anderson, of Bradley, and Mark Anderson, of St. Anne; daughter, Sharon Hornback, of Bradley; brothers Lawrence Carroll and Sonny Carroll, both of Indiana; eight grandchildren & three greatgrandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Anderson and Marsha Drake; one daughter-in-law, Jane Anderson; and one sister, Judy.
