Floyd L. Anderson, 80, of Bourbonnais, died Monday (July 17, 2006) at his home, after an extended illness.

Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens, Kankakee.

Mr. Anderson was a lifelong farmer in the Bourbonnais area.

He was born Feb. 5, 1926, in Exline, the son of Carl and Annie Rosendahl Anderson.

He enjoyed fishing and rebuilding and restoring antique tractors. He was an avid Cubs fan.

Surviving are his wife, the former Rita J. Carroll, whom he married Aug. 24, 1947, in Kankakee; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Carl and Jane Anderson of Bradley, Mark Anderson of St. Anne; one daughter and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Dennis Hornback of Bradley, Terry Drake of Bourbonnais; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two daughters, Barbara Anderson and Marsha Drake; and three brothers, John, Harry, and Roy Anderson.
