*There is a Collins Family Bible that only has a partial listing of John J. Collins' children with wife Elizabeth Wheeler Collins. (a rumor heard through the net). Her name is listed as Bessie Wheeler on her daughter's death certificate (Zilphia Collins Williamson Smith). According to a History Of Marion County, she was the sister of General Edward B. Wheeler, War of 1812.
