Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with burial in Winnfield Cemetery. Dr. W. L. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.
Mr. Walsworth, who was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Walsworth of Jonesboro, served as Winn deputy sheriff from 1928 through 1944.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield and the Masonic Lodge here.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Laura Sholars Walsworth; one daughter, Mrs. George Rogers Smith, Ponchatoula; one son, the Rev. Miles A. Walsworth, Columbia, Miss.; one brother, Johnny Walsworth, West Monroe; and six grandchildren.
