Mrs. Rosa Richard, 85, of near Harlan, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Butler Nursing Home, Butler, where she had been a patient three months.
Mrs. Butler was a native of the Monroeville area and moved to Harlan five months ago.
Surviving are a son, Clifford Richard of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Mrs. Homer Witwer of Alverton, O.; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Gilmore of Cleveland, O., Mrs. Emma Butler of Decatur, and Mrs. Lucy Clem of Detroit; six grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Marquardt Funeral Home in Monroeville, with Rev. Harold Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.
