Emma H. Butler, 84, 604 Bollman St., died at 2:05 a.m. today at the Decatur Community Care Center, where she had been a patient for 16 months.
Mrs. Butler retired March 1, 1951 from the Decatur General Electric plant after 24 1/2 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
She was born February 28, 1891, in Monroeville, a daughter of Jacob and Mary E. Miller-Wagner. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Margaret) Reed, with whom she made her residence; two sisters, Mrs. H. E. (Anna) Gilmore of Cleveland and Mrs. Lucy Clem of Taylor, Mich.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Maxine, is deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Zwick Funeral Home, Rev. Fuhrman Miller in charge. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
