He was born in Waterbury, CT on November 7, 1917, a son of Antonio and Maria (Emelia) Augusto, and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 16 years, formerly living in Somerville, MA.
Mr. Agusto was a US Army Air Corp veteran serving during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion Post #27 in Londonderry. He was member of the International Machinist's Union, and had been employed for the N.E. Confectionary Co. in Cambridge, MA, retiring in 1982. Mr. Agusto had also been a self employed real estate broker. He loved gardening and traveling to Portugal.
He is survived by his wife, Arminda Agusto; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Antonio A. (Patricia) Agusto, Louis P. (Jean) Agusto, and Robert P. (Kimberly) Agusto; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna (Charles) Amaru; ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
