Willard G. Pardoe
Willard G. Pardoe, Tyrone RD 1, Honestown, died Monday at 3 p.m. at his home following a heart attack.
He was born Oct. 14, 1891 at Bellefonte, a son of Alfred and Mary Pick Pardoe. On Oct. 19, 1912 at Huntingdon he was married to Maude Harpster of Warriors Mark.
Surviving are the widow, two sons and a daughter, the Rev. Gerald L. Pardoe, DuBois; Donald I., of Bellefonte, and Mrs. Winifred Miller, Skelp, Altoona RD 2. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 12 great -grandchildren, a brother Ernest, Bellefonte. Three sisters preceded him in death.
He was a member of the First E.U.B. Church, and was an employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. as a trackman, retiring in 1956 after 35 years service.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. John Russell. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Willard G. Pardoe of Honestown, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home at 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 1968.
He was born in Bellefonte, Oct. 14, 1891, a son of Alfred and Mary (Pick) Pardoe. On Oct. 19, 1912, in Huntingdon he married Maude Harpster of Warriors Mark.
Surviving are his wife, three children, the Rev. Gerald L. of DuBois, Donald I. of Bellefonte and Mrs. Winifred Miller of Skelp; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gevena Carson of Tyrone, eight grandchildren and a brother, Ernest, of Bellefonte.
Pardoe was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, Tyrone.
He retired as a trackman for the PRR in 1956 after 35 years of service.
