Maude H. Pardoe
Mrs. Maude H. Pardoe, a former resident of Trone, died Wednesday at the Washington, Pa., Hospital.
She was born Feb. 16, 1887 at Franklin, a daughter of Isaac and Carissa Fell Haprster. On Oct. 19, 1912 she was married to Willard G. Pardoe. He died Feb. 12, 1968. Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Gerald L. Pardoe, of McDonald, and Donald I. Pardoe, of Bellefonte. Also surviving is a daughter, Winifred Miller, Altoona; ten grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a brother, Guy Harpster, State College.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Tyrone.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Trone. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
