Born July 29, 1935, in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Wade Hampton Thrower, Sr. and Myrtle Mae Hughes Thrower.
Mr. Thrower was a retired electronics technician for the Charleston Naval Shipyard.
He served ten years in the U.S. Air Force and ten years in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Wade was a member and former church treasurer of First Church of God in Summerville.
Mr. Thrower is survived by his wife; a daughter, Edna B. Barton of Henderson, NV; a son, Emitt L. Thrower of Marysville, WA; two sisters, Gloria Mae Dangerfield of Mt. Pleasant and Rosemary Hull of Summerville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment: Carolina Memorial Park.
