Died 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 1986, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was a native of Enterprise, Ala., and resident of Baton Rouge. She was a retired City Parish Government Department of Public Works permits employee. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday. Visiting at First Presbyterian Church, noon until religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Dr. Russell Stevenson and the Rev. George Ricks. Entombment in Greenoaks Mausoleum. Survived by husband, William M. Goff, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Lorin (Martha) Smiley, and Mrs. Raymie (Sarah) Edmonds, both of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Murl Smith, Enterprise; four brothers, Hugh, Leo, Quenton, and Green Miller, all of Enterprise; five grandsons;a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ronnie, Ricky and Todd Edmonds and Randy and Max Smiley; and nephews, Don Smith and Jim Collins. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Milland Byrd Jr., Dr. Harold Voss, and officers and employees of Capital-Union Savings FA. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, charter member and past worthy matron of Fairfield chapter of OES, past president of Welcome Bible Class at First Presbyterian Church, and past president of Mother'sClub of Phi Mu sorority. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, 650 Steele Blvd., 70806.
