Gussie Mae Pinson, 80, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Gussie Mae Berna was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Erath County. She married Willie Cecil Pinson on Oct. 30, 1948, in De Leon and they moved to Azle in 1987. Mr. and Mrs. Pinson were members of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Pinson was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 11, 2002. Survivors: Her daughters, Cynthia Johnson and husband, Art, of Azle and Cecilia Kirby and husband, Dale, of Arlington; grandchildren, Stan Johnson, Jana Johnson, Larry Kirby and Gary Kirby and wife, Kim; great-grandchildren, Chiven Cuellar and Evin Belitz; great-great-grandchild, Janie Cardinas; and nephew, Jerry Logan.
