Graveside services for Alfred Brotherton, 81, 1505 E. Sixth St., who died at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Hospital following an illness, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
The Rev. Paul Patton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Carl Russow, Gary Russow, Terry Cavener, Gerald Cavener and Bill Russow.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
Mr. Brotherton was born March 2, 1902, at Marionville and had lived in Joplin since 1969. He had been a construction worker and was a U.S. Army veteran. His wife, Mrs. Pearl Marie Brotherton, died in 1967.
He is survived by a half sister, Mrs. Juanita Baugh, Webb City.
