Born Sept. 26, 1954, in Peoria to James and Donna Darrah McIntyre, he married Robin L. Edwards on April 15, 1978, in Chillicothe. She survives. Also surviving his mother of Chillicothe; two sons, Samuel and Benjamin, and one daughter, Morgan McIntyre, all at home; one brother, Edward of Chillicothe; and one sister, Christine Reed of Fort Myers, Fla. His father preceded him in death.
