Dean E. Allbaugh, 69, of Anderson, died at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 29, 2000, at his residence. Born Sept. 24, 1931, in Carroll County, he was the son of Ottis and Mary Wise Allbaugh. Mr. Allbaugh had resided in Anderson for the past 46 years. He owned and operated Allbaugh Construction, doing residential and commercial construction for over 40 years, retiring in 1997. He attended Delphi schools and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Allbaugh attended the Baptist Church in Anderson and was a member of the American Legion and VFW, both in Anderson. Surviving are twin sons, Keith Allbaugh and Curt Allbaugh, both of Richmond; two brothers, Jerry Allbaugh of Lafayette and Don Allbaugh of Delphi; one sister, Carolyn Royer of Goshen; nieces and nephews. Services were today, Wednesday, at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Rev. Larry DeVos officiating. Burial was in Wise Cemetery, Camden, with Delphi American Legion military rites.
