A life resident of Jacksonville, she was active in the Women's Legislative Group, Riverside Presbyterian Church, a Bishop Kenny "Cheerleader Mom", and was a model and tap dancer, embodying beauty, glamour, kindness and generosity. Her Celebration of Life will be Sat. Oct 2, 2pm, Forbis and Dick, 1118 N. Elm St, Greensboro, NC, 27401. She is survived by daughters Megan Blake and Joyce Cook (husbands: Kim Swartz, David Cook). She is now waltzing with her WWII distinguished husband, Larry, and will be interred with him at Arlington National Cemetery. May they dance forever.
