Herman "Catfish Adams, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, Mr. Adams was the son of the late Robert Leonard and Lennie Mexico Beck Adams. He was the widower of Florence Batchelor Adams. He retired from Central State Hospital and worked for Baldwin County and NAPA Auto Parts. Mr. Adams was a former member of the CB Radio Club and the Baldwin County Civil Defense Rescue. He was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Adams and Marie (Emmett) Yarbrough; sons, J.W. Adams, Leon Adams, Eric Adams, and David Adams all of Milledgeville, brother, Oscar Adams of Milledgeville, sister, Sarah Fulwider of North Carolina, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
