—Adam Van Driesen died Thursday morning, and the funeral took place Saturday from the Baptist Church, the sermon proper was preached by the Rev. Mr. House, the Evangelist who lately was engaged in revival work at that church, and further addresses were made by the Rev. Mr. Mallory of Aurora and another clergyman from abroad. That death should be an awful warning, and the importance of being prepared for it, was the tenor of all the addresses.

The deceased was 68 years of age,a native of New York State, an adherent of the Baptist church, a lover of his home, and has been an inhabitant of Oswego for 22 years. A widow and six grown children are his survivors, and all but a daughter in Nebraska and a son in New York were present at the funeral.
