Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband; her two brothers, Raymond (Jean) and Robert (Ruth); and one sister Frances (Fred) Sharp. Marie leaves behind a blessed family including her children; Al (Mariane) Salt Lake City, Ut., Garry (Mary Jo) Pleasant View, Ut., Dennis (Mary Lou) St George, Ut. and their only daughter Marla Sahleen, North Salt Lake, Ut.; 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She is also survived by one sister Beth (Richard) Balderston. Marie was happiest when out in nature; especially when fishing. Fishing allowed her to relax and forget the pressures of life. She was an excellent fisherman and always caught the most fish. We will miss her cheerful spirit, her good cooking, her "can do" attitude, and her endless wisdom. We loved her well. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 20th at 12 pm at the LDS chapel 3317 South 800 West, North Salt Lake. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive on Tuesday September 19th from 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday at the LDS Chapel from 10:45 to 11:45. Internment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
