Oliver H. Wiley b. 9 Nov 1806 md. Mary Ann Miller 12 Oct. 1836 and died 21 March 1885 near Toccopola. Mary Ann b. 14 Jun 1816 died 12 Oct 1883 near Toccopola. Both were buried in Toccopola in Toccopola town cemetery. Their children were: Margaret b. 26 May 1839 md. John Johnston and died 9 Jun 1886; Isabella Angeline b. 6 Nov 1841 md. John Wooten and died 26 March 1886; William Henry b. 27 Sep 1844 md. Martha Tennessee King b 3 Aug 1848; Mary Frances "Molly" b. 3 Oct 1848 md C.B. Foust; Martha Ann "Matt" b. 1 Dec 1849 md Charles Dejournette and deid 15 Feb 1911.

... Oliver Harper and William Henry Wiley were partners in a sawmill operation on a creek east of Oxford where they owned property on what was called "Woodson's Ridge." They sold most of their lumber in Oxford where they hauled it in wagons pulled by oxen because the roads would get so muddy they would be impassable at times.

From this line of Wiley have come some of the outstanding leaders in Lafayette County as city officials, merchants, postal employees, and church leaders. They helped to develop Lafayette County in to one of the leading cultural counties in Mississippi.
