She was born October 5, 1937 at Curranville, KS, the daughter of Ira and Bessie (Payne) Walden. She attended schools in Mulberry and graduated from Mulberry High School. She and her family moved to Colorado thirty six years ago.
She married Phil Wolters in 1956 at Fort Scott, Kansas. He survives at the family home.
She was of Christian faith.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Diana Andrus of Brighton, Colorado; two sons, Jim Wolters of Akron, Colorado and Dick Wolters of Cape Coral, Florida; one sister, Arleta Pryor of Mulberry; seven grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Pauline Morgan and three brothers, Jack Walden, Kenneth Walden and Calvin Walden.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday (September 25) at Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, with Rev. Daryl Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow the services.
