Harley Francis Ashlock, age 75, of Halfway, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 at his home in Halfway, Missouri.

He was born February 24, 1935 in Halfway, Missouri to Luther Francis Ashlock and Minnie Belle (Voris) Ashlock.

He married Mary Luceil Hampton on January 30, 1955 in Burns, Missouri.

Harley worked as a Farmer and cattle producer, the MFA Warehouse, and later for Bolivar Insulation for 13 years prior to his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the Goodson Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, his children, grandkids and great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harold Ashlock, Willard Ashlock, his sister, Thelma Newland and two infant baby sisters.

He is survived by his wife; Luceil Ashlock of the home, one son, Richard L. Ashlock and his wife Mary of Halfway, Missouri, two daughters, Brenda K. Welch and her husband Pat of Bolivar, Missouri, Darlene G. McBride of Bolivar, Missouri, one brother, Lovell Ashlock of Bolivar, Missouri, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30am, Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Brother Bill Ackels officiating. Musical selections will be "How Great Thou Art" and "Turn Your Radio On". Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ashlock, Joshua Ashlock, Spencer Welch, Jared McBride, Michael McBride and Rick Hensley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Citizen's Memorial Hospice Program, 1500 North Oakland, Bolivar, Missouri 65613.
