Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford, for Alfred (Albert) Alfson, 79, who passed away Friday in his home in Binford. The Rev. A. O. Borlaug officiated at the funeral.
Mr. Alson was born at Farmington, Minn., April 7, 1877, and came to Binford with his parents in 1882. He married Alpha Thinglestad at Jessie December 30, 1903.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons and three daughters, LeRoy and Mrs. Evelyn Hopley, Binford; Mrs. Glen (Bernice) Broten, Walum; Milliard of Los Gatos, Calif.; and Mrs. Russell (Elaine) Anderson, Pekin; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
