Mary Catherine Swigert Gibson was born at Jacksonville, Ill., Sept. 28, 1856, and passed away at the home of Mrs. E. Fox, at Geneva, Nebr.
On Jan. 1, 1891, she was united in marriage to Alfred L. Gibson. To this union two daughters were born, Mrs. Ruby Wolcock of Geneva and Mrs. Esther Bird, who proceded her mother in death.
Funeral services were held from the Metz mortuary Thursday afternoon with Rev. F. C. Friederch in charge. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
