LANETT - Mrs. Maudie Looser Tyson, 91, of Lanett died Sunday, Feb. 7 1999, at Beverly Health Care in Lanett.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at Lanett Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. Roy Bain officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.
Mrs. Tyson is survived by her son, Ernest Ronald Tyson of Lanett; her niece, Lucy Champion of Lanett; and several nieces and nephews.
Born Nov. 18, 1907 in Davidson, Ala., Mrs. Tyson was a member of Lanett Congregatioal Christian Church. She was a retired employee of West Point Pepperell's Lanett Mill with 44 years of service. Mrs. Tyson was a homemaker and has been active in her church. She was the daughter of the late Ida Ann Hester Cotney Looser and Joseph Looser.
The family will receivefriends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point.
