She lived her entire life in and near Wyaconda, attended the Wyaconda public school and was converted and joined the Wyaconda Christian Church at the age of 17 years.
She was married to Lester Carl Lipper, March 14, 1915 and to this union were born five daughters and five sons as follows: Diena (Mrs. Bradley Stutz) of Kahoka; Delila (Mrs. George Evermon) of Canton, Missouri; Nelda Mae (Mrs. Wayne Overhulser) Dallas City, Illinois; Twila and Willa Merle of Wyaconda, Missouri; Raymond of Dallas City, Illinois; Dean of Montrose, Iowa; Kenneth of Kahoka; Delbert and Clayton of Wyaconda.
Her mother preceded her in death July 3, 1928 and her father November 5, 1930, and also the following brothers and sisters: Bessie Mae Steele, Daisy Martin, Nora Lipper, Mabel Whitehead, Emma Doore, Jessie, Velva and Franklin Billings.
She leaves to mourn her death besides her loving husband, daughters, and sons, 11 grandchildren, three brothers, and one sister.
Minor Billings of Cle Elum, Washington; Fred Billings of Baggs, Wyoming; Maynard Billings of Granger, Missouri; and Alice Dochterman of Granger, Missouri, three sons-in-law, Wayne Overhulser, Bradley Stutz, and George Evermon, three daughters-in-law, Betty, Mary and Marjorie Louise Lipper, besides nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Mrs. Lipper was a quiet, unassuming lady. She was a Christian and excellent neighbor and numbered her friends by her acquaintances, a kind and intelligent mother and faithful wife. She will not only be missed by her family but the entire community.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. and Mrs. Hollis Bowen of Queen City, Sunday, September 10, a 2 p.m. at the Christian Church in Wyaconda and burial was in the Blattner Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles and Floyd Allen, Morris Waddell, Kenneth Fry, Charlie Bricker, and Tommy Hayden.
