Funeral services for Maynard David Billings, a farmer of near Granger were held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Gerth and Baskett Funeral Home in Memphis. Burial was in Luray Cemetery. The Rev. W. E. Longstreth and the Rev. George Baskett officiated.

Maynard David Billings died at his farm home near Granger at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, after an extended illness.

The son of Ira Orlando and Lenna Haskins Billings, he was born near Wyaconda, Clark County, October 13, 1881 and attended Clark County schools.

Surviving are his wife, the former Zora A. Dochterman; two sons, Ross and Ernest of near Granger; two brothers, Minor of Cle Elum, Wash., and Fred of Baggs, Wyo. and a sister, Mrs. Alice Dochterman of Granger, and two grandsons, Richard Wayne and Tommie Ray Billings
