KENTON, March 17 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Evan Pfeiffer Banning, 68, well known Hardin-co resident who died Tuesday after an illness of ten weeks, were to be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal church at Hepburn with Rev. Edward T. Warring of Marion, in charge. Burial in Lee cemetery.
Mrs. Banning, who had been in failing health for more than 20 years, was born in Goshen-tp, Nov. 21, 1869, and had lived in this county all her life. She was married to George A. Banning on April 20, 1893.
Surviving are three sons, Edwin, Marion; Norton, McDonald-tp; and Orvill, at home; two brothers, Joel Pfeiffer, Chicago, and Carl Pfeiffer, Lewistown; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Hune, Forest; and three grandchildren.
