PINEVILLE — Freddie Ray Sinkhorn 63, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at the Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born December 16, 1945, the son of the late Oakley Sinkhorn and Omvia Jones Sinkhorn. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Hoskins Sinkhorn of Pineville; sons, Dewayne and Tonya Sinkhorn of Pineville, Michael Elden Sinkhorn of Pineville, and Marty Lee Sinkhorn and Shonda Perkins; daughter, Chasity Marcum of Middlesboro; brother, Orville (Poodle) Sinkhorn of Pineville; sisters, Tommy Howard of Pineville, Phronia Lawson of Morristown, Tenn., and Charsa Lawson of Morristown Tenn.; grandchildren, (special grandchild) Tyler Dewayne Sinkhorn, Jasmine Sinkhorn, Brianna Sinkhorn, Haven Sinkhorn, Patrick Sinkhorn, Omvia Sinkhorn; and a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Van Johnson and the Rev. Phillip Jackson presiding.
Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens at East Pineville. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home which is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
