Suggested edit: Services for Roy Gentry were held in the Morton Church of Christ. He married Margaret Hunt on 25 December 1938 in Sudan, Texas. He was manager of Forrest Lumber Company of Morton for 23 years. He was a 1936 graduate of Anson High School. He was a veteran of World War II and past president of the Morton Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Morton Lions Club, Sheriff's Posse, and Rodeo Club, and was active in civic affairs in Morton. Survivors include his wife; one son; two sisters; one brother.
