Francis M. McHenry, 68, of 635 Rock St., formerly of North Main Street, died Thursday.
Born in this city, a son of the late Michael F. and the late Ruth (Slater) McHenry, he was a textile engineer for Norbut Manufacturing Co. for 10 years before his retirement. Before that he was employed by Globe Manufacturing Co.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, he was also a graduate of the former Bradford Durfee Technical Institute, Class of 1950. A Coast Guard veteran of World War II, he was a former member of the Federation of the Blind in this city.
Surviving him are two sons, Michael F. McHenry of East Taunton and Paul C. McHenry of Beaverton, Ore.; four daughters, Anne Petit of Berkley, Elizabeth Doupe of Roseburg, Ore., Jean Carey of Somerset and Maureen Faires of Wichita, Kan.; and 12 grandchildren.
The Cherry Place Home of Waring-Ashton and Coughlin-D.D. Sullivan-Driscoll, 178 Winter St., is in charge of arrangements.
