In Boston, June 14, 2017 Michael Francis McHenry, Age 67, passed away at Brigham & Womens Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. Michael is survived by his beloved wife Susan J. (Saab) McHenry of East Taunton. He was born in Fall River, the son of Elizabeth Hope Burdge and his late father Francis McHenry. Michael was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and from Massasoit Community College. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War while in the U.S. Army. Michael worked for the U. S. Postal Service until his retirement. He was a member of the Crystal Waters Association Club in Lakeville and also a member of the Disabled American Veterans . He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, cooking, baking but the things he cherished the most was his family, especially his grandson Chad. In addition to his wife, Michael leaves his two loving children Michael McHenry of East Taunton and Courtney McHenry of Quincy, his siblings, Paul McHenry and his wife Maryanne of Portland, Oregon, Elizabeth Doupe and her husband Dr. Michael Doupe of Marshfield, Anne Petit and her husband Tom of Berkley, Jean Carey of Somerset and Maureen Faires and her husband Bob of Kansas. He also leaves his grandson Chad Martinez of Taunton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the OKeefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, June 21st at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Burial in St. Patricks Cemetery in Fall River. Donations may be made to either the Disabled American Veterans , Chapter #57, 7 Taunton Green, Taunton, MA 02780 or American Cancer Society , P.O.
