Wiley Edgar Woodward married his wife, Mary Barnes, on 15 July 1912, in Vernal, Uintah. Utah.
They Had four girls, LaVede, LaRen, LaPreal & Baby LaNita.

Lassen Advocate, Susanville, California-24 Oct 1941- Old time resident passed away. Wiley E Woodward, 50, who for the past fourteen years has made his home here in Susanville died yesterday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with the internment at the family plot at the Lasssen Cemetery.
Woodward came to Susanville with his family from Utah, for the past ten years he was employed by the Fruit Growers Supply Company and during the past years has been a scaler for the Red River Lumber Company.
He is survived by his wife Mary Barnes Woodward; Three daughters LaVerde Clark of Salinas, Mrs. LoRen Mickey of Jackson, Mrs. LaPreal Tummings of Richmond; four brothers
James, Charles, Morris, of Roosevelt, Utah and Don of Corning. Two sisters, Mrs Ada (Loyd) Stewart of Jensen Utah. and Mrs. Ella Wilkerson of American Fork, Utah.
