PONCHATOULA - Annie Belle Walley Whigham, 91, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001, at North
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.
She was a native of Walley, Miss., and resident of Ponchatoula.
Survivors include her son, James Burnett of Wesson, Miss.; a sister, Corinne King of Ellisville,
Miss.; six grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Jean Bennet and two sisters,
Irene Lofton and Myrta Pauline Williams.
Deacon Warren Fortenberry conducted the funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home in Hammond. Burial was in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
