Gwendolyne F. Eastman Sturmer of Wayne Road, Wallingford, died Thursday at Westfield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. She was 71. She was born in Ashland, Maine. She was a Wallingford resident for 40 years and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford. She is survived by her husband, Raymond K. Sturmer; a daughter, Robin Barton of Moodus; a son, Eric Sturmer of Wallingford; a sister, Bertha Michonski of Ashland, Maine; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
