R. Joan "Jo" Boucher, 79, of Washington, Ill., formerly of Mackinaw, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
She had fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Jo was born Nov. 5, 1930, in South Pekin to Orville and Eva Annie Hill Teter. She married Robert W. Aber on April 7, 1961. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1992. She then married the love of her life,
Lyle B. Boucher, on June 17, 1993, in Sebring, Fla. Lyle preceded her in death April 2, 2008.
Also preceding Jo in death were her parents and one sister, Dorothy Dailey.
Jo retired in 1990 from Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Morton.
She was a member of Mackinaw Christian Church and CWF.
Memorials may be made to her church or to TAPS.
