The "Reta Jo" on his headstone has another memorial in Mackinaw Cemetery, 58071865. She remarried after Robert's death. Her name is on both husbands' headstones. According to MTC burial listing, Reta Jo is buried next to her second husband, Lyle Boucher

MACKINAW -- Robert W. Aber, 74, of 401 S. Juliana died at 11:26 a.m. Sunday, March 22, 1992, at Pekin Hospital, Pekin.

Born March 26, 1917, in Pocahontas County, Iowa, to Albert and Virginia Bouton Aber, he married Joan Kline on April 7, 1961, in Bartonville. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Dee Johnson of Pekin, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

He was employed by Ingersol Buildings of Peoria before retiring in 1982. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of Mackinaw Masonic Lodge 132, AF&AM; and the Mohammed Temple, Shrine, Peoria.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw, the Rev. Donald Tharp officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Masonic services at 8. Burial will be in the Mackinaw Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Mackinaw Rescue Squad.
