Mrs. Emma I. Messinger, 76, widow of Ralph E. Messinger, Hanover, died Sunday afternoon at Hanover Hospital.
She was born in Adams County, the daughter of the late John and Emma Rife Amspacher.
Her husband, the late Ralph E. Messinger, died in June 1967.
Surviving are these children, Mrs. Emma Luckenbaugh, York; Mrs. Myrtle Hamilton, New Oxford; Mrs. Catherine Noel, York; Ralph J., Hanover; Mrs. Ruth Crabbs, Hanover; Richard F., Hanover; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, John M. Amspacher, Lineboro, Md.; Mrs. Florence Ritz, Loganville; Mrs. Aaron Bair, Glen Rock; Edwin Amspacher, New Oxford and Paul Amspacher, Hanover.
She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, Biglerville.
