David's wife was shot and killed by her son-in-law, April 15, 1881, who at the same time shot and killed his wife, and then shot and killed himself. In Mrs. Boucher's home just outside of Dayton, CA. which was outside of Chico, CA. They had been married, from the article only a few months.
