JOE HOCKIN, 68, of Houston, passed away Monday, March 23, 1970. He was a mill foreman for the Ervine-Bishop Grain Company for 45 years. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of the World.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alberta Hockin of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. Bera Jo Standley and Mrs. Elsie Weisinger, both of Houston, and Mrs. Nancy Crowell of South America; and one son, William C. Hockin of Houston.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Harrison of Odessa and Mrs. Ruth Kuhl of Dallas; four brothers, Sam, Thomas, Amos and Philip Hockin, all of Alvin; and 10 grandchildren.

Services were held at 2PM Wednesday, March 25 from the Waltrip Chapel with the Rev. Joe Wall and Rev. A. Davis Wood officiating.

Interment was in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, under the direction of Waltrip Funeral Directors of Houston.
