Sold in 1905 and moved to 1211 Cedar St in Muscatine Ia.

Came with his parents, in a emigrant wagon Oct 1845, crossed the Mississippi by ferry at Fairport, Iowa , lived in Blue Grass, Scott Co, Iowa that winter, until his father (John and Rhoada) entered upon the old Baker homestead in Pleasant Prairie, Fulton Twp, Muscatine Co., Iowa 1846.

With the exception of five year in Jasper county, he had resided in Muscatine Co. Iowa, farming in Fulton twp. the the city of Muscatine.

John and Roada came to Iowa along with sons Harvey, Albert, Andrew and Wesley. They lived in the Blue Grass, Pleasant Prairie area. Later Albert moved to the Wilton area and Wesley moved on.
