Jane Runyon Clayton, 93, of Toms River, passed away, Sunday, March 27, 2011 at The Chelsea Senior Living, Toms River. Born in Red Bank, to the late Everett & Mabel Runyon, she lived there and later in Point Pleasant before moving to Toms River. Mrs. Clayton, with her late husband Ken, were the owners and operators of Clayton Surgical, Point Pleasant Beach, for many years. She was a member of the Red Bank United Methodist Church and life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Wall Chapter. Her beloved husband, Kenneth C. Clayton, Sr., predeceased her in 1991. Surviving are her son, Kenneth C. Clayton, Jr. of Red Bank; three daughters, Bonnie Walsh and her husband Joe of Denville, Debbie Duffy and her husband Tim of Point Pleasant, and Barbara Butler of NY State. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 30 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31 a service will be held at the funeral home followed by interment at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
