He was born September 11, 1957 in Nephi, Utah, to John Gordon and Phyllis Anna Jackson Belliston. He married Dana Gay Cook August 14, 1984 in Nephi, Utah.
Survived by his wife Dana Belliston, his parents Gordon, Phyllis Belliston; mother-in-law, Betty Cook; his four kids: Katie (Tim) Hardman, Brandon (Helaine) Belliston, Melissia Anderson and Amberlee Walters; four grandkids: Makayla, Lindsey, Kaden, and Kaelee, and one soon to be joining the family, Payton; his three sisters, Sandra (Bert) Paxman, Sheryl (Brent) Eyre, and Karen (Rick) Wall, and most important, his dog Moe.
He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Waylon Belliston, his grandson, Dawson Belliston, father-in-law, Mervin D. Cook; and many other wonderful family and friends.
What do you say about such a wonderful and fantastic man! He was always so willing to help anyone out whenever it was needed, especially his family. He worked as a truck driver for 33 years. He was an avid "shade tree" mechanic, and loved working on and fixing anything that he could in his spare time.
He was an avid gardener as well, with his four tomato plants that produced one tomato no bigger than a pea, as well as four single peas. He loved barbequing and spending time with his family.
And above all he was and will always be the BEST: husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be extremely missed, but never forgotten. Until we are together again, We Love You!!
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in the Nephi North Stake Center, 1125 North 400 East. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North Nephi, UT and at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
