Frances Ruth Anderson Wright, of Columbia and formerly of Cordesville, SC, departed this life on the afternoon of September 12, 2010.

Mrs. Wright was born April 22, 1938, in Cordesville, SC, a daughter of James Lee Anderson, Sr., and Isabel Bunch Anderson.

She was a graduate of Berkeley High School and a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wright was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Surviving are, her husband, Lawrence John Wright, Sr.; two sons, Lawrence John Wright, Jr., and wife, Lynn, and Ronnie O'Neal Wright and wife, Susan, all of Columbia; a daughter-in-law, Terrie Wright Ward of Camden; a sister, Barbara Ann Williams of Dublin, GA; a brother, Charles J. Anderson of Summerville; and three grandchildren, Lawrence J. "Trey" Wright, III, and wife, Marshanna, Dustin McGowan, and Makayla Wright.

Interment was in Cordesville First Baptist Church Cemetery.
