Rollin Lacey, 75, died at 11pm Saturday at the home of a sister, Mrs T D Leonard, East Canal street, Newcomerstown, as the result of a heart ailment. A son of Richmond and Margaret Lacey, he was born January 6, 1870.
Surviving are two brothers, Arthur Lacey of Newcomerstown, and Danny Lacey of Cleveland; three sisters, Mrs Leonard, at whose home he died, Mrs Flora McMunn of Neoga, Ill., and Miss Zola Lacey of Cleveland, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2pm at the Jones-Lydick-Castle funeral home at Newcomerstown, with the Rev Charles Foust officiating. Burial will be made in West Lawn cemetery there. From: The Daily Times, New Philadelphia, Ohio, Monday, March 5, 1945, p8.
