STINNETT - Clarence Gillis, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 28, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Borger, officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.

Mr. Gillis was a native of Weatherford and a Stinnett resident for 51 years.

He was a retired pumper for Diamond Shamrock. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Stinnett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mozel Gillis on Nov. 29, 1996.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Gillis and Donald Gillis, both of Stinnett, Billy Gillis of Pampa and Hollis Gillis of Mansfield, Ark.; one daughter, Mary Abbott of Stinnett; two sisters, Roberta Moore of Memphis and Imodene Alexander of Redlands, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Mr. Gillis will lie in state at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Stinnett until service time.
