He was born to John V. Wallace and Margaret Dennery. He married Frances Ruth Darling and moved to Ohio in 1929. The family lived in the Dayton area until his retirement from the Dayton Economy Wholesale Drug Company in 1968. Then he and his wife moved to their weekend cottage and have spent retirement there for the past three years. Surviving are his wife, daughter, and son along with nine grandchildren and his sister.
